2050 hours. Setauket Fire Department is dispatched to assist SUNY Fire Marshals at a reported nitric acid spill in a classroom of the Chemistry Building. The spill was mitigated by the Hazmat unit of the SUNY Fire Marshals Office. Stony Brook FD also sent an engine to the scene.
