2356 hours. Smithtown Fire Department is dispatched to a report of a traffic Collision on East Main Street near Hemlock Lane. Units arrive to find that a vehicle left the roadway, striking a tree in front of St. Patricks Church. The lone occupant had self extricated and suffered minor injuries. FD EMS personnel packaged and transported the patient to the hospital and FD personnel applied absorbent material and secured the vehicle.
