Traffic collision with injuries on West Main Street at Brooksite Drive in Smithtown

2057 hours. Smithtown Fire Department responds to a traffic collision with injuries at operated at Edgewood Ave and West Main Street. Fire and EMS personnel arrived to find a multi-vehicle crash. The occupants were removed, evaluated and transported. FD personnel secured both vehicles and addressed fluid that had spilled onto the roadway. There were no serious injuries. This was one of seven calls that the Smithtown Fire Department handled today. Just another day in the life of your volunteer firefighters.
