Traffic Collision requires extrication in St. James.

At 13:47 hours, the St. James FD was activated for a traffic collision at Lake Avenue and Moriches Road. Units arrived to find a crash involving two vehicles with a subject trapped in the back seat of one of the vehicles.

St. James FD operated with Rescue 9, Engine’s 1, 3, mutual aid ambulances from Stony Brook FD, Nissequogue FD and Nesconset FD. Three patients in total were transported to Stony Brook University with non life-threatening injuries.

The scene was under control at 2:11PM and all units were released shortly thereafter.
